I would argue that for most people this would be a good deal. Getting 5-7k a month for a part time job is pretty dam good. Most pilots will not land six figure jobs while on furlough.
I would argue that what's good for the Goose is good for the Gander. If a Tiered Pay Scale is real, (God I hope not), then how about the top 1/3 get the 39 MPG. That would really save the Company some money!
Anything that comes out with a B and/or C scale is dead on arrival to me.
And I have been previously Furloughed by this company.
