I'm concerned this maybe the beginning of the end for ALPA. Not happy with splitting the pilot group by 1/3s. The bottom 1/3 keep their jobs but get insulted with 39MPG. Why not have have a standard 50MPG across the group? Does ALPA always have to cater to the top 1/3 of the group?
Because the top 2/3's, for now, aren't being furloughed. It's still a seniority system but many are doing their best to reverse it.
Why is it when everyone is hired they always ask the same question? "How many do I have to have beneath me until I'm safe?"
They knew the risks inherent with this career when they signed on the dotted line. These aren't my words but those from someone within the 2850 ranks.
