You're giving up some right to go make that money, sure, so that it can be spent elsewhere. In the case of a cancelled displacement, it may even be neutral or in your favor. Working less isn't the worst thing in the world. You can do some retirement type things.. now. While you're young and healthy.
My contract says my MPG is 73 hours. Any reduction in MPG is exactly how I/you/we are paying for it. Can you not see that? Don’t lecture me about days off, my contract is for 73 hours!!!
