Perhaps the questions put people on the spot. I've left a few voice mails asking specific and tough questions. After three days I get tired of waiting...Likely no answer because the answers require a certain level of candor.

However, that's bad advice. All of these sorts of questions should be covered by forward thinking local communications that answer these things before they become line pilot questions or concerns. I call it proactive communications. We should try it sometime. I hope the NC didn't just go VFR direct and do their own thing without the full blessings of the MEC. I would love to read it all in the minutes. But, so many executive sessions, can't find who said what, etc. Can't put executive session stuff in the minutes.....interesting.
