IMO the pilot group has absolutely no leverage. The company has already won. MAG ALPA is dysfunctional...no officers are released from line flying & communications are pathetic. The pilot group is not unified at all. Although there is no love for the company and management, no one is doing anything about it. Expect to see a concessionary contract, or a weak fight strung out over 3+ years. The best thing the Mesa pilot group can hope for is a major management shakeup (lose JO and everyone on the 7th floor); or a buyout from another regional carrier.

Nonetheless, I wish my friends there good-luck......they'll need it.
