Honestly....Furlough...cut it down. Training is a backlog nightmare I say 6-8 months to clear at best. I have no reference to base that off of however.
They can’t just expel 4000-5000 pilots overnight. They will artificially carry a surplus like it or not at company cost. Once the surplus is utilized that will be their trigger to recover more. If they are as hopeful as they seem (and there is a bounce back) they will see the trend and be proactive.

yes that would include me being pushed out. I think this is an epic gamble with little chance of success and will only be financially & contractually detrimental to the collective whole not only for the entire length of this TA but this will last for many years down the road far past the TA sunset
