BK happened, we all know that, but that was due to years of unprofitably after 9/11.
You’re all missing the point. We didn’t need to furlough during the financial crisis because by that time, after bankruptcy in 2005, and the new massively concessionary contract hits, there was no need to. We were lean,
streamlined, and efficient. Therefore: no furloughs were necessary in 2008.
