Even if the mask mandate stuck around, which it wont, people can fly again for business without caps on flights.
You assume the mask mandate is still 100% tied to the current COVID episode.
I wouldn’t expect things to go back to normal even after the immediate threat is eliminated. After 9/11, the “buh, buh teh terrorists!” howl was used to great effect to spread useful fear and rain cash on selected parties. A mask mandate is as useful as the TSA in that respect. It shows that “something is being done”.
I wouldn’t expect this time around to be any different.
