And indeed, they MAY pull it off. There is a first time for everything - but anything less than four years WOULD BE the first time. But even when it is, you have to convince enough people to take it to get the “critical mass” necessary for herd immunity.

the number of COVID-19 cases surpassed 6 million.
“I don’t plan on being anyone’s guinea pig,” said Ebony Dew, an independent from Capitol Heights, Maryland. “I don’t plan on getting it at all.”
And anyone who thinks that can be done by the police power of the state is as insane as the tinfoil beanie paranoids who won’t take any vaccine, and trying to force them that way would only make them more paranoid in any event.
