With the first EO, and the one included in the TA, and having until June to have more retirements, the eventual furlough number will (hopefully) be less with this TA.
Don't count your retirements before they hatch.
Did you happen to notich how much our EO sucked when compared to others? Did you notice how few guys took it? And did you notice that the NEW EO only pays our for 24 months, compared to the last one at 36? How many guys do you think are going to take it this time? Why is this group giving up an additional 12 months of pay? Who came up with this crap?
