Todd probably underestimates the negative effect on unity and solidarity down the road. This will be a long term win for management. The upper two thirds won't be there. Heck, if we had done informational picketing when the 9 billion in stock was being bought that may have resulted in some positive unity.

Todd not only has to rebuilt a contract negotiating plan and openness, but he now has to figure out how to rebuild the union. I have heard a few pilots mention they want to object to paying dues for religious reasons and just pay the maintenance fees (agency shop I think its called). As well as one on the jump seat stating he planned on mailing Todd his pin, but cut in half with a saw to reflect "half support." Not making that up.
Negotiations don’t involve the consideration of those with the behavioral issues of a 4 year old.

If someone wants to be angry at work and just plain awful to work with then that’s a choice I suppose. I just don’t see what they’re getting out of it beyond looking for who they can create a tribal divide with to continue reigniting fabricated grievances. Very unfortunate and the idiocracy in the echo chambers of social media and forums has no place in the job.
