Oh yeah. Especially since the sweet spot on the basket for fuel flow isn’t that big. No reason to drive it forward.
I was always surprised that more Hornets didn’t swap paint with the ARS, since the jets are WAY closer to each other during that evolution, and often comm out. Get a couple feet too high and the exhaust from the tanker blasts your vertical stabs—not a fun feeling at all.
All options beat the Maiden, though...
