No, it’s not complicated. They are not hourly workers but on a salary. When our MPG was cut, the value of our job was cut. As our goes our so goes theirs. Plus, you can do away with that $2000/mo stipend since they mostly work from home. Funny how they avoided giving up that Lil nugget. If the UAL MEC threatens to work less because they are paid less then by all means. I guess that just means they really aren’t there to work on behalf of the pilots. They volunteered for the job, they can volunteer back to the line. Steak and cake my .....
we can argue philosophically about whether or not the paid members of our union should receive full compensation, given the crazy amount of work on their plate right now.
but to argue that they should take a pay cut seems like you were yelling into an empty room… Haven’t they publicly stated they plan on doing just that?
