Just flew UAL and Skywest UAL Express for the first time in a few months, the FAs made announcements on both flights requiring all window shades to now be open. I am curious to what drove that decision since the FAA has never required it, albeit Exit Rows obviously. Kinda bummer if trying to sleep or watch a movie with the sun in you’re face or tablet. Hope it can fade away.
