I am 100% on board for keeping the union accountable. I believe there was an journalistic organization inside SWA that reported on the SWAPA. The important difference was that I believe they were largely impartial and did not seek office or directly gain from criticizing union actions (or lack thereof).

The weird thing about this anti-Insler movement, is it is coming largely from people who have their own political agenda. People who definitely gain when he loses. That is why I feel so disappointed when I hear guys like oldMako propping up “the gardener’s” (JB type) BS… How can anyone feel like rumors or second-hand “information” that come from that camp has any validity to it?
As much as you and others want to muddy the waters in support of your position/Todd, this isn’t about SWA, anti Todd, MEC takeover, migrant worker’s rights, senior vs junior.

Very SIMPLE FACTS. The MEC and select committee members are drawing a salary that is ~50% more than where the current line pilot concessionary MPG lies. They are receiving a $2000/mo expense stipend which they elected to continue even when their travel is severely curtailed due to Covid.

It speaks volumes when everyone else has taken a cut but they have not. It’s not like they didn’t see our cuts coming.
