That same logic could be extended to "respect the seniority system....and those senior to you." Why? They have already paid their dues, and have actually paved the way for you to be here, and for you to work under working conditions far better than they had.

In reality, without the hard work of the senior third, the bottom third's life would truly suck. Everything the bottom third has, had, or will have now in and in the future is the result of your benefactors. Paying dues was the easy part. We had to show up and get it done. You're welcome. I take exception to "I went through the same stuff that you did." I really RESPECTFULLY disagree. This has been a nutt-cutting, and ball busting career.

The only pilots that have had it easy for every phase of their career have been the scabs.

Not everyone at this airline paid their dues equally. Some were given seniority without actually earning it. There are plenty of pilots that are older and have been around a lot longer (like 8 years or so) than many of those senior to them.
