Not everyone lives rent free in their parents basement. We all have bills. I don’t pick up OT hardly ever, but I’m not going to judge anyone for doing what they do because I assume they have their reasons.
This is exactly why they say not to pickup OT. Theoretically it is to force the company to be understaffed and bring people back. No one cares about saving the company money.

I’m skeptical that it actually has any real affect, but it does show solidarity.
