The problem is until Delta has a high risk flight filled with old unhealthy people and a low risk flight with young healthy people for example, it's not possible to separate the consequences of infection and allow one to be mask free or otherwise getting on with life. Most people have enough empathy except college students to take precautions even if as individuals they are not at high risk.
