Probably for ulterior motives, but still, when Trump got sick they tried to get something done quickly while the meds were still kicking in. If they don’t come up with something next few days there probably won’t be one till after the new year.
Pelosi has been pretty clear. The airline bailout is in the bill that the house passed and she’s not going to do standalone bills. Imagine if your union came out and said they company won’t agree to a contract because of an impasse, and the company is willing to enact one section of the CBA for now, but can’t be used later for negotiations...
