Still researching. The local CC does it, but when I googled it some of the trucking companies offer it as well. I know some guys who got the book and did it on their own and I think that’s what I’ll do. Once you have the CDL, many companies will run you through their own training anyhow, similar to the airlines.

My dad has his own business in NE PA (not an option for me), and cannot find warehouse workers and truck drivers. Businesses are at a loss about how they cannot find employees no matter how much they raise the pay, and yet unemployment is so high.

The bright side is I’m confident I’ll pay the bills if furloughs come and am already getting things lined up.
