I’m in the furlough zone and it would be devastating financially to get furloughed after big paycut to come here and offers from other stable places and I’m a big NO.

What will be curious is if we furlough how many ppl leave when things inevitably pick back up. I came here for job security and if I get furloughed I’d entertain other places again despite being here a number of years. Other places will still have retirements and quicker upgrade will be low even if they come back smaller. If job security is gone, we’re left with 10 plus year upgrade. Now I know the company will replace any that leave but I think retention will drop
