But in this particular case,The left will have zero room to complain about any and all “unfair” treatment/midslinging their candidates get. Then again, the right will have no room to lob spears for brash behavior.

And all it will do is perpetuate the viscous cycle, and in the meantime, nothing gets done because both sides just hate each other so much. Even if your side has a point, we all lose.
