It's human nature to have emotion, especially when in stressful, life changing, situations. It's unreasonable to expect everyone to approach this with android like logic.

Bombshells like the one they dropped yesterday definitely affect the psyche and morale of employees. We know that they don't care what we think or how we feel, but they will care when their decisions start to affect their profitability. If they think this will save them money, than perhaps they need to go back to business school, because I guarantee, with 100% certainty that this will cost them even more than just leaving things as they were. Union busting has a cost, and the long term aspects aren't good. The kind of union busting they are doing has been proven decade after decade to only strengthen the resolve of the employee group, at the company's detriment. Maybe they should stop listening to their law firm so much… they are the only winners here as billable hours skyrocket.

Investor conference on the 28th should be interesting. I guess we will see if the investors are paying attention. Severe labor strife never helps the stock price.
