I appreciate his counterpoints also, the last thing I want is an echo chamber. He tends to twist the narrative to fit his viewpoint which I don’t like and after his veop debacle and now referencing the companies initial proposal which was never published I can’t stand. I used to respect his views greatly.
Factual counter points are one thing but as you said, he will never acquiesce to being spokesperson for all managements positions, anti union rhetoric and being completely wrong in discussions. It’s possible he is my wife because she would never admit to being wrong either.
