“A smaller effect on required staffing is brought about by the amount of reserve and premium pay flying that is performed. While you are indeed correct, this is a mostly academic argument as we rarely if ever operate at the minimum required PBS staffing formula. I really wish the MEC would give us a little more context when discussing this.
