This highlights the two different realities the American public lives in right now. I would argue that the evidence overwhelmingly supports that mask use slows down transmission rates. Local daily newspaper, BBC, WSJ, NPR and PBS Newshour.
Look at the numbers. There are places that masked and are doing great. There are also places that masked that are not. Same for places that never masked, some good some bad.
I don’t see a problem wearing the mask especially if it makes people more comfortable but I’m gonna fully disagree that there is any “overwhelming evidence” that masks are working.
