Its not an either/or; Media doesnt have to be controlled by the State or manipulated by the corporations like it is today. You can have honest reporting that reports "facts" and not the "opinions" or narratives to draw ratings. Our current system is what you get when the goal is "glorious profits" and not objective reporting.
