Before covid, we successfully negotiated an hour of pay above guarantee for each short call assigned (used or unused). That clause alone would have wiped out most involuntary short calls for commuters (and local pilots) without them giving up any pay whatsoever. If we instead go this LOA 20-03 route, I believe that clear win will be gone forever.
That's a good put. My thought is when things get back to "normal" one side or the other will pull this down and then we'll start full up negotiations again. I wouldn't mind keeping ULC if the company is willing to pay 2.5 above for SC. That is my "give"
