Alaska must seriously consider the Airbus especially since they can also see the MAX issues and we already have been making solid profits with a mixed fleet!
If Alaska decides against Airbus I personally think this will be a big mistake since we have everything in place for a dual fleet already and reverting back to a single fleet is just a mistake unless of course they are seeing the writing on the Wall for a future Merger and just don’t care for the long term outlook...
It's not MAX vs bus, it's MAX vs. NEO.

NEO is pricey to begin with. MAX discounts have obviously been getting deeper and deeper since MCAS and now covid. At some price point even an objective observer has to agree that the MAX is a smokin' deal, even with all of its warts. I'm guessing that price point has already been reached, possibly with more to come.
