My brother-in-law almost had to close his business. My father-in-law was close as well. The lock downs are bull****. Let people die. **** happens, but mass homelessness, unemployment and the subsequent lack of incoming tax dollars is going to be worse.
I managed to score a few interviews recently, but the majority of my furloughed friends haven't been so lucky and are now doing landscaping or waiting tables...
If pilots think youre going to find comparable work or flying work at all, you need to be juiced in these days. I dont care how awesome or hardworking you are, its all the networking youve been doing in the past or just plain old family connections....and thats to get a flying job less lucrative than your last gig most likely.
