I had a TK instructor tell me that when training consolidated in Denver that a CAL scab got mad because his training partner told him that the captain was a scab. The captain got upset, marched down to the head of training, and demanded that the F/O get fired for calling him a scab. The training manager just asked if he was a scab. When the captain said that he was hired during the strike, the manager just smiled and told him that he was in fact a scab and to get back to class. Just as long as you use it as a legal term and not an insult attached to a string of expletives, you are fine.
Really great story! [insert golf clap]. Do you now equate a slick tie from a lower 1/3 being in the same boat as a scab?
