Saw the 2% quoted in an article somewhere but I think this is the study they’re referencing.
Businesses are already able to restrict access to anyone they deem fit (ie airlines). No federal mask mandate necessary for that.
Like I said, it could be more of a symbolic, advisory gesture to further encourage the use of masks in all public places, or they could try to force states to require masks in all public places. This is all just speculation on my part. My point in all of it is that I think a mask mandate would be the most extreme measure you would see regarding stopping the spread from Biden.
My comment regarding businesses was about to segue to something else, but I decided to just leave it.
