Meh, everyone that comes over from the military has had a series of Anthrax shots of questionable efficacy that was on the verge of being discontinued for servicemembers before (the FBI later determined) one of the lead scientists mailed anthrax to everyone to save his program. I'd say if the COVID shot's made it to phase 3 it's probably safe enough. Won't tell ya if it actually works, but unlikely to kill or incapacitate you.
Just for the record, the National Academy of Sciences drafted a report that called the methodology and results of the FBI's finding that Ivins was the likely culprit into question, in addition to expert testimony (Ivins' coworkers) who've said that it would highly unlikely that the spores used by Ivins could have been manufactured independently by Ivins in his time in the lab.
So, we can argue that the "FBI posited" but simply in no way can we claim the FBI proved that statement.
