I doubt you’d hear any COLA-0 guys complaining about new hires getting training pay. In this hypothetical scenario those junior new hire pilots won’t be undercutting the ability of the COLA-0 guys to get flight hours and the sooner they start bringing in new pilots, the sooner they shoot up the seniority list. Our current junior pilots could potentially go from zero time lines to hard lines in a short period of time. I say “bring it on” and put some cash in the pockets of COLA-0 guys ASAP.
