As long as republicans are holding the senate majority I don't believe it will be as much of a bloodbath as you may think when it comes to sweeping mandates. Remember, covid hysteria is about public perception and whatever changes Biden may make, no matter how small, will likely be exploited to show how great he is doing vs.the Trump administration. As long as CNN isn't constantly plastering the death ticker and gullible people aren't lead to believe that every time it clicks someone just died like The Hunger Games, hysteria will eventually begin to calm down. Combine that with ever increasing covid fatigue and even a limited use vaccine and I think we could be on the road to a reasonable recovery. Believe me... I'm no fan of Joe Biden, but I don't think him taking office will cause the covid related collapse that some people believe.
