Some crews seem to love it. Counterintuitively, from what I've seen the smaller the better - i.e. bring like 1 donut per FA instead of a box of 12 donuts. Personally, I just ask my crew what they want from the coffee place if I'm going anyway, and don't ask them to pay. Normally don't bother crews with anything when non-reving. DHing or jumpseating if I can avoid it in good taste and IAW custom, company manuals etc..
I always bring something for the gate agent when I'm listing at the gate for an OAL jumpseat, seems to help enormously and they're very appreciative. I've won over a JB gate agent at Kennedy so thoroughly with a fancy chocolate that he came out and found me in the boarding area a couple times to let me know what was really going on w/ their delay. Very nice guy, may have done it anyway.

Being a "top tier" regional is like a top tier porta-john. Either way, you are pooping in a bucket, it smells terrible, and you can't wait to get out of it.
Just a reminder that it's never too late to apologize for dbag posting.
