I’ve done that on the NG when the Captain is cool enough to permit it, but didn’t we get like a dozen RBFs saying not to do it on the MAX? Something about it presenting as a start malfunction and causing an inadvertent shutdown?
if I recall, the problem was guys were changing the bleed configuration too early, before the red line disappeared.
