Of those numbers 2/3 died with covid. 100000k or so were non Covid related.
April 12 we had 45% excess mortality. Now it's 6 to 8% excess mortality.
So we are getting it under 'control'. And as more time passes that percentage will continue to come down with better treatment etc.
My point is......the covid 'spike' is not cases and the only number (if we used only one) we should look at is excess deaths........because the excess deaths have come down significantly while pcr positives have come up.
They are not correlated.
