If you can/do live at your base, well your home every night so its great. However, if not, the normal 12 days off a month does not leave much home time. Good luck!
For the pilots that need to be around home for family reasons how would a 1 1/2 hour drive to work, both ways so 3 ttl, be compaired to commuting say to LGA or BOS when there are about 7-8 flts a day from here to LGA and 4 a day to BOS? Being based in LGA or BOS would be away from home so how are the trips from those cities are there overnight trips or are they crashpad nights? Trying to see if I would be paying for a place to stay or Colgan.........I guess what I would like to know is it better to be in your own car going to work or flying to work and finding a place to stay if needs be.........thanks for any help!!!!
