You and I are in full agreement to the other "trip touching," which was why that company proposed Holiday Pay agreement went down in a ball of flames, and which is likely not to go away in any hypothetical PBS agreement, because the pilots would never vote for it.

So.... even if you're wrong, you want to be told you're right? Look, I've not been directly involved in grievance work, and I don't know who you are or what the specifics were, but on a broader level sometimes one just has to manage everyone's expectations. For example, if you come to me demanding a 6 hour min day in negotiations, while I'll fully agree with you that's a phenominal idea, I'll also have to point out that that's over an hour more than any of our peers have and not likely to get anywhere with the company. Likewise, if one (not necessarily you) tries to suggest an illegal job action on social media, it's also my job to point out how counterproductive that will be under current labor law.

Thanks for that, but having had the unfortunate experience of dealing with many doctors, tell me the truth all day long....... I'll take House any day if it means I get to walk out of the hospital alive.

You and I are in agreement more than you know.
My biggest issue right now is that the Union needs to clean house to restore even a modicum of faith that they're actually working for us.

If you lose your medical and are being paid to only do ALPA work, but you're too indifferent, incompetent, or flat out lazy to type up a weekly email about where we're at (even if nothing of consequence happened) when the pilot group has been asking for communication ad nauseum... then the proper thing to do is resign, or be removed.
