Speaking of a few weeks ago, the most granular TSA data available is from 10/25 and shows a disparity in recovery across different airports. Not unexpected but certainly interesting.
My observation is DFW has a huge "source" of local residents who desire to travel, who depart from DFW, in addition to being a major hub/gateway airport for connecting passengers.
Maybe that chart is showing only "boarding passengers" and not total pax (including connecting).
