Even in the NG at cruise I would roll up the flight plan from the last leg and jam it into the vent to get it actually blowing on me instead of dispersing right away. In the back it was always OK its just that the windshield acted like a greenhouse. The legacies had the advantage of getting started faster which cooled it down faster. I remember too many days in south Florida on an NG sweating my ba!!s off waiting for the screens to boot up so we could start
