It’s not just for the Amazon flying. That would be a temporary stop gap to the China Flu bleeding. Took them 5 yrs I think to get etops certified. They would probably have a hard time getting the real cargo ops authorization. Tom Nealon has gone on record in groundschools saying that SWA loves MSP because delta really only does domestic out if there and it’s easy to compete with them. Add that Sun Country’s ability to fly red eyes and also the 767 program that’s being spun up for Amazon. There’s so much more to it than the planes and the crappy leases. My little birdie in building C has a pretty good track record. He was weeks ahead on the Amazon stuff and the Apollo sale. He’s saying they want to wrap it up prior to any IPO because it’s gets incredibly more expensive after that happens.
