I've heard dumber ideas. First of all, the new Tecnam Traveler they are flying is sweet! Second, they could feed all of those little tiny stations we have all over the country with an armada of outstation based Tecnams and 402s turning each city into a mini-hub of sorts. Half of that flying would be EAS, subsidized by the government.

I know you were being facetious but as a life long av-geek (even before it was cool) I like to think about linkups like that and then watch Cape Air You Tube videos (check out this cool video) and old episodes of Wings.
