With government bailouts and nearly impossible barriers to entry and stringent regulations, airlines are in effect run by the government.

Anything with the word "tax" in it is the exact OPPOSITE of a 'market based-solution.' Not to mention, the only "problem" that is getting solved is in the minds of some who believe in the climate change hoax.
