I do find it mind boggling that the GOP is so dead set against any sort of stimulus checks for the peasants. It literally would be a transfer of tax money to the select members of the ruling class that they represent. A regular Joe will immediately take that money to Walmart or other big box store, increasing their profits, which drives up the stock price and thereby making the important people of the world happy.
