Would an extension of the PSP by Congress even help us avoid pilot furloughs? Unless Congress doesn’t come up with an agreement until later next year, I don’t think the bill would carry past May 1st, which is obviously when JetBlue pilots can be furloughed without further mitigation.
Honestly, I don’t think the vaccine is going to change anything.
I mean our government give people 1200 bucks and said no work. Stay home.
but if PSP goes through it should go through for 6 months from the date it’s signed. Mmm not October when Nancy said “don’t furlough” money is on the way. Remember that?
Anyways. That’s just my opinion. I don’t think the vaccine is going to change much as far as the amount of people traveling. Especially over the next year. Maybe summer 2022 back up to a level that people get called back.
