You're right, my post was juvenile and I should leave the name calling elsewhere. I guess my point is, do you have a life outside the airlines? Do you have an activity that you enjoy above all else? Are you capable of finding pleasure in things other than Avaition?
If you can answer yes to any of these, move on. I, for one, am looking forward to 60 and I DO NOT want to work beyond it. I remember signing my application at CAL and being told "you will retire at age 60". Do you remember that?
If we really want to make the new rule fair, here's a suggestion. Make the age 65 change apply ONLY to those hired 1 day after its enactment. That way people who have no life to live can cling to the Captains seat for as long as they choose and us "Old Guys", (who agreed to leave at 60), can fade off into the sunset like we said we would.
Again, sorry for the harsh words, but get a life dammit !!
