if you are a captain here at nk, why leave to go sit in the right seat for many years.
who knows what will happen with Spirit in the future, or any other airline for that matter....you are in a good place right now....you should hang out and wait to hold cpt in dtw. It will prob take you less time than it would to upgrade at UAL.

Thanks for the opinion. I don't think I'll ever hold CPT in DTW again. And if I do get to, I'll be living somewhere else by then.
Who knows, UAL might drop down to 3-5 years upgrade like it did at CAL, and the way it was prior to 9/11.
I always said it would be my luck, I'd leave Spirit, they would become the "SWA of S./Central America", and I'd be out on the street due to a furlough.
