American Airlines is running on fumes currently. They’ve used all available resources to conserve liquidity, which will last until June if something doesn’t drastically change. The company is in so much debt, even if we have a dramatic shift in passenger numbers it’s still extremely doubtful they’ll recover. They’ll be LUCKY to get away with filing chapter 11 with the amount of ridiculous debt on their books they’ve acquired in the last 10 years.

Where am I going with this? I can’t wait for the new “must see” Swayne video when American inevitably files.
